The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish".
 Promise of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

~~~~~~~~~~
"I am the Lady of the Rosary. Continue always to pray the Rosary  every day."
 (Our Lady of Fatima, October 13, 1917)
~~~~~~~~~~

From St. Louis De Montfort...
"If you say the Rosary faithfully until death, I do assure you that,
in spite of the gravity of your sins you shall receive a never-
fading crown of glory."

~~~~~~~~~~
From Pope Pius XII...
"We do not hesitate to affirm again publicly that we put great
confidence in the Holy Rosary for the healing of the evils which
afflict our times."
~~~~~~~~~~

Promise of the Blessed Virgin Mary...
"I have obtained from My Divine Son that all the advocates of the
Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire Celestial Court during
their life and at the hour of death."

~~~~~~~~~~
When I think of a Rosary, I normally picture a fifteen decade one as shown above. But most people usually expect a Rosary to have 5 decades. Which is now one fourth of the entire rosary. While most catholics pray five decades of the Rosary each day, there are still many that pray the entire Rosary daily (fifteen or twenty decades). I listed fifteen or twenty decades, for many still recite the traditional fifteen mysteries.
The the Apostolic Letter ROSARIUM VIRGINS MARIAE of the Supreme Pontiff John Paul II to the Bishops, Clergy and faithful on The Most Holy Rosary states that "The Rosary, though clearly Marian in character, is at heart a Christocentric prayer." This letter proposed an addition to the traditional pattern. The purpose which is to bring out fully the Christological depth of the Rosary. These Mysteries include Christ's public ministry from the time he was baptised and his Passion. In the letter it states, "It is during the years of his public ministry that the mystery of Christ is most evidently a mystery of light:
"While I am in the world, I am the light of the world" [John 9:5]". It has been left to each individual and community to decide if they wish to add these new Mysteries to their Rosary.How to Recite the Holy RosaryWhen reciting the Holy Rosary in solitude we start at the Crucifix. Say these Prayers….
     Kiss the Crucifix
     Make the Sign of the Cross
The Apostle's Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth, and in in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into Hell. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. +  I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Now when Pilate had heard these words, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat, in the place that is called Lithostrotos, and in Hebrew Gabbatha. And it was the parasceve of the pasch, about the sixth hour, and he saith to the Jews: Behold your king. But they cried out: Away with him; away with him; crucify him. Pilate saith to them: Shall I crucify your king? The chief priests answered: We have no king but Caesar. Then therefore he delivered him to them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him forth. And bearing his own cross, he went forth to that place which is called Calvary, but in Hebrew Golgotha. Where they crucified him, and with him two others, one on each side, and Jesus in the midst.
